Why I planted lavender

I think that the production of medicinal plants in our region is under-represented. In the previous period we were producing beans in the organic farming system, therefore without the use of pesticides. The reason for planting is a long-standing desire to produce plants without the use of pesticides, plants that could naturally produce the end product, not raw material, and make a profit from which we could live.

I believe that this type of association of producers and education of association members will increase the interest of the population in the production of essential oils of various medicinal plants, not just lavender.

What are my plans

Current plans for lavender production are based on the idea that we produce the first lavender essential oil grown on our earth. Later plans are related to the increase in the area under these plantings and possibly the possibility of producing young new plants.

Long-term plans, and I hope that these are also the agro-political plans of our country, are the production of medicinal plants and its products in Vojvodina, as an extremely noble and profitable branch of production, which has been neglected for a long time.
